Cool your feverishly hot flash with this refreshing estrəgin and tonic. Gin connoisseurs know to drink their G & T from a balloon glass or a “Copa de Balon” which originated in the Basque region of Spain in the 1700's. Its bowl shape is designed to trap the aromas of the gin and slow down the melting of the ice cubes - dilution is not your friend ; )
2 oz estregin
Tonic water to taste
Pour gin over ice in a Copa de Balon and add tonic to taste. Express a lemon or orange peel over the top; then drop into the glass. Or squeeze a lemon or lime wedge into the cocktail and drop it in.
